Crunch is a new Saturday morning time block for Canada kids channel, YTV. I am very lucky that I was brought into the project from the very beginning (we didn't even have a name yet). Working closely with our art director, Vince Robles, I came up with the concept of “guerrilla revolution”, kids putting out a manifesto telling kids to take back their Saturday morning.
We were really looking at street culture, harveting the rawness of street to fuel the revolution concept. Which resulted in an slighty older look for YTV, but still not losing our audiences (age 6-12).

These are some storyboards for the prelaunch idents. The idea is while we are airing our normal programs, the kids will jam the TV signal and boardcast their motto, "EVERYTHING SATURDAY". (Art direction and elements from Vince.)

My sketch and the final of a poster we placed in all the major cities across Canada. Unlike before, we got some guy randomly paste it on walls, playgrounds, lamp post, basically everywhere.

For web, but i don't think they actually used my design. :(
