The Maison internationale des arts de la marionnette (MIAM – International House of Puppetry Arts) is a joint initiative of the Association québécoise des marionnettistes (AQM) and Casteliers, now proud owner of these premises.
Would you also like to support the MIAM’s activities and contribute to the development of puppetry arts? Every donation counts!

When you support the MIAM, you are first and foremost supporting a unique and made-to-measure environment for puppeteers and their audiences. By donating to Casteliers, the owner and caretaker of the building, you will be making a valuable contribution to the maintenance of the building and to the development activities held within its walls. There’s no donation too small! Whether you can chip in $5, $10, $50 or $500, every donation makes a difference.
Looking to make a longer-term commitment? A monthly donation of as little as $3/month (the equivalent of a cup of coffee) goes a long way!
You can also make a cash donation in person or send a cheque to Casteliers. Please fill out a donation form and send it to:

The MIAM officially opened its doors on March 9, 2019, and it was with great excitement and pride that its founding organisations, Casteliers and the AQM, hosted a fundraising event at the MIAM in the spring of 2019, an evening of celebration with puppeteers, partners and donors!
It was an excellent opportunity to network with business and cultural leaders over puppet-themed music, wine and cheese. The event raised close to $55,000 towards the MIAM’s activities!

In 2017, Casteliers, together with the AQM, launched a major fundraising campaign with proceeds going to the MIAM’s renovations and specialized equipment. Our heartfelt thanks the donors and partners who demonstrated their confidence in us by donating more than $300,000! Casteliers and the AQM would like to thank everyone who believed in the MIAM from the start, and without whom the centre would not exist today.
